The company also has access to Structa Group plant engineers, which extends its capabilities to include welding engineering and quality systems.
Simulation
Simulation capabilities include linear static analysis, dynamic analysis and modelling of non-linear structural behavior. This is of particular importance in modelling ultimate structural behavior and failure modes.
Testing
Test Management comprises the planning, execution, interpretation and reporting of such to the client.
The range of tests include:
Full scale tower testing (in excess of 20 tests at Eskom Tower Testing)
Laboratory testing of structural elements (in conjunction with Sasol Lab and others)
Materials testing (utilising accredited labs)
Field tests and data gathering with our own full set of QuantumX Universal Amplifier testing equipment.
Codes and Standards
Structures are designed and certified according to the latest relevant codes, such as ASME, BS, EN, ASCE, API and SANS.
